New Complaints Popping up about William Edward Summers

I would like to draw special attention to the Blog started by Patrick Lafreniere. We never found any information about William Edward Summers until after we were ripped off by him for $1,300, we found this Blog AFTER we lost our money. I started this site as a place to hopefully find information beforehand and make an informed choice.

However, I found that lately there has been new posts and new people reporting they paid him and didn't get anything for what they paid.

Be sure to call the Police. If they tell you it is a civil matter make a report anyway and tell them about all the other people who have been taken by him. There are dozens of people listed in the records provided here that say he took their money and didn't deliver. That is fraud. Even if it is a small amount of money if it is added to other victims in Canada that is Fraud over $5000 and that is a much more serious charge.

A file was started in Victoria BC (Saanich Police at 250-475-4321) and ultimately they couldn't find enough victims to make the case at the time - lately quite a few more or coming forward. Not that there wasn't evidence that he was running some kind of scam, just not enough victims to make it stick. Call the Police, no matter how much he took from you. It will help in the long run to stop him from continuing this game with people and taking more from others.

Also, contact the Better Business Bureau in your area. We searched the BBB before we hired him, but we didn't do a National Search by mistake and there was no complaints already in our city.

Feel free to contact me for more information about the case file opened. If you are looking to serve him I also have some leads on how you can do that.

  1. We have hired Mr Summer to do a job for us. Partly through the job we realized that something was not right. We decided to do more research on him. We do not want to pursue our association with him for the remaining of the contract. He is now harassing us on the phone, calling us 6, 7 times a day on our personal and business numbers. Are there any options to make him stop the harassment? Since we have not given him the chance to take all our money and scam us, is it still consider a scam?

  2. We hired him as well and he sent a sample of our plans to keep us fooled, after a few weeks of working on them. Then when he asked for the final installment of our payment, he disappeared - ignored all our emails and phone messages. Now he has $1000 of our money and we have no plans and are at square one with our home build project. If you see his services advertised on Craigslist please do what we did and flag them as a scam!!!
